To scan documents to your computer using a USB cable connection, ensure that your system meets the following requirements. You can import images from the scanner into a folder on your computer using a USB cable connection, through your scanning software application. Determine the version and update, if needed.
NOTE : Some features are only available with newer, updated software firmware. I can't get the computer to recognize the device as a scanner. Everytime I press the "Scan to Desktop" app it gives me a message saying "No scan profiles are available". But the computer doesn't recognize the device as a scanner as well. I can install the drivers for printing to work fine.
